Founded by Giovanni Benazzo in 1939, specializing in fountainpens and spare parts, Gibiemme 2000 in the late 50's becomes a mechanical turnery. Since then,  Gibiemme 2000 has become active in that specific market sector: in addition to traditional cam lathes, we also use numerical control lathes and short-bed lathes, transfert machines, and special equipment for more complex processing such as drilling, transversal tapping, eccentrics and grooves.

Gibiemme 2000, during its 63 years of operation, has produced medium high precision bar turning, intended for Italian and foreign companies in all industries. The company also offers additional items (heat and galvanic treatments, assembly, grinding and finishing), with the help of a group of qualified external suppliers.

The company, headed by Carlo, Giovanni, and Vittorio Benazzo, has moved to larger quarters, an area of 5000 square meters in Trezzano sul Naviglio, near Milan.
